GENERAL INFORMATION
There is a frequent risk at the pipe comes off its coupling because its to components are not perfectly matched and owing to the vibrations and pressure caused by the fluid flowinginside. Thus, hose clamps must be used whenever a certain sealing between the pipe and its coupling must be guaranteed. The utilization of pipe collars is particulary suitable in such sectors as motocars, electric household appliances, machines for mill, pumps, compressors, air distribution machines or distribution machines of other fluids and machine tools in general.

Nannetti Collars Adjustment: good - Seal: excellent - Easy assembly and disassembly: good Suggestion about their utilization: due to their characteristic shape, these collars can be assembled and without any component part being separated. These operations can be carried out while keeping the pipe on its coupling without any risk to lose the collar components. In order to quicken the assemblig operations, precalibrated screwers can be used. Since the collar is campled by means of a micrometer screw, very small tightening torques compared to worn screw collars are necessary. This allows to use smaller screwers, therefore they are less expansive, easier to handle and more economical as far as consumption is concerned. We strongly recommend to clamp the collars by means of the torques indicated in their relevant technical cards, so that an excellent distribution of radial loads is obtained when the collar is the main seal guarantee. The screw has an hexagonal wrench or a screwdriver. Finally, this collar does not cut the pipe bacause of the motor vibrations and/or material aging as it often hannes to wire hose clamps
